Protection Against Protect-IP

A shout out to Evan Roth, the Internet's foremost bad ass mother fucker,
courtesy of Roth
If viewership truly is power in the digital age, then I am still powerless.  But there is something to be said for passing on Roth's good word, even if there aren't many ears to hear it.
Art has many legal obstacles to deal with as is; constraints on context and content in the forms of  property and copyright laws respectively.  Protect IP would allow for excessive censorship of the internet by private interests.  Threats of lawsuit would easily put a damper on spontaneous creativity and tame this generation's wild frontier.
